AOL and MSN HELP: How to use a different browser

  1. First, make sure you have another browser installed on your computer. Most, if not all, PCs will have Internet Explorer (IE) already loaded on them. Look for a shortcut on your desktop. If that doesn't work, go to Start/Programs and look for Internet Explorer.

    If you still can't find it, go to Start --> Search-->Files or Folders and do a search on "Internet Explorer." If nothing turns up, you must download it from Microsoft and install it on your computer.

  2. Next, log into your Internet provider (AOL or MSN) as usual.

  3. Minimize your AOL or MSN window. Do not close it.

  4. Launch Internet Explorer.

  5. Using the Address bar in IE, address bar screen shot, type the URL to the WebCT login page: http://http://webct.fiu.edu/.

  6. Click on Login to My WebCT.
