Use the comparison tables to look at differences between the two counties. The crosstabulation tables
do not include missing values (don't know, refused to answer question, or skipped because not
applicable). Thus the totals are less than the full number of interviews. See the frequency tables
for counts that include missing values. In those tables "Percent" includes missing data in the
percentage calculation, while "Valid Percent" does not. "Cumulative Percent" adds up the percentages
up to that response.
A number of Broward residents surveyed were living in Dade County at the time of Hurricane Andrew. This
should be kept in mind in looking at figures for damages to homes from the hurricane.
