SUZART was born Valdiney Sousa Suzart on January 10, 1967 in the city of Feira de Santana in the state of Bahia, Brazil.

SUZART spent his childhood and adolescence in the historical city of Cachoeira, where he started to paint in 1981.

He currently resides and works in the region of the Recôncavo Baiano in the city of Muritiba. This area serves asa great inspiration to Suzart since religious syncretism, miscegenation, and the Afro-Brazilian culture are part of the daily life of the people of the Recôncavo Baiano.

SUZART creates his sincere art where the color, forms, and influences of the current world are transformed into this universal language.
