Places to Live

On campus: Florida International University offers on-campus housing for students at both its University Park and Biscayne Bay Campuses.

Located near classrooms, the library and recreational facilities, University Housing provides students with the opportunity to live with others in a supportive residential setting.

Because FIU has a diverse student population, the residential experience offers a unique opportunity to live with and appreciate people from other countries and cultures.  Please visit the Housing Office website.

Off campus: The very new Commuter Center and Orientation Programs office situated in GC next to the Cafeteria offers its services to students looking for rooms, efficiencies or apartments off-campus (but not too far from it!).

External resources on the internet could also help students find apartments to rent.  One of the most  valuable internet resources is homestore.com.

International students might want to check with the Office of International Students and Scholars Services (or ISSS).

Students might also want to visit the various apartment complexes around the University.
