Office of Institutional Research (OIR): The primary purpose of the Office of Institutional Research is to assist in the organization and maintenance of institutional data, the analysis and interpretation of institutional data and preparation of institutional reports to support the decision-making process of the University.

According the OIR site, for the Fall 2001 Semester there were 17,311 Full-Time and 14,511 Part-Time students enrolled, totaling 31,822. Of this, 18,086 were female and 13,736 were male.
