The University Park and
Biscayne Bay Campus libraries have a combined collection of
more than 1.4 million volumes, documents, periodicals, maps,
microfilms, institutional archives, and curriculum materials. The
library subscribes to approximately 9,300 journals and serials,
and to over 250 electronic databases.
The library's on-line
computer catalog, WEBLUIS (Library User Information Service)
provides information on the collections of all libraries in
the State University System of Florida, and access holdings
at other major libraries throughout the state and country.
FIU Libraries has a rigorous
library
instruction program for both students and faculty.

Interlibrary Loan
- A state-of-the-art system of interlibrary loan links the
library with others throughout North America. Currently
registered students, faculty, and staff may use the libraries
of any of the other campuses of the State University System
(SUS).
SEFLIN Card - For access
to, and loan from libraries in the Southeast Florida region,
you can ask for the SEFLIN card and visit any of the universities
of the area.
Checking-out Privileges
- Graduate students can loan printed materials for a three-month
period.
Student Carrels - Graduate
students can maintain a carrel assigned to them for each semester.
