Research

Interests: Mainly Harmonic Analysis (Maximal functions, Sobolev spaces/inequalities, extremals) Secondly, certain aspects of combinatorics (Marriage thm, rearrangements of functions) and clustering (eg classification schemes, pattern recognition). You can read an intro to maximal functions here, and play around with a simple applet. More recently, I've been studying unique continuation, level curves of harmonic functions, and discrete inequalities with L De Carli.
