Getting Started Purchase the textbook.

Find your FIU email address. 

Prepare your computer for the course.

Log in to WebCT. Go to http://estudent.fiu.edu and click on the Course Login box. (starting August 29th).  Your  initial password is your full date of birth, mmddyyyy. (ie, 07151985 for July 15th, 1985). You will automatically have to change your password the first time you log in. 

Important Information Four exams will be given, 3 regular exams and  a  final exam.  All exams will be  proctored. These exams will be given at FIU's University Park Campus.  The exam schedule is in the Course Outline. Each exam is given on a Saturday morning.  Students who live within 75 miles of Miami (between West Palm Beach and the Upper Keys) are expected to take their exams  on campus. Students who live further away should contact me immediately about arranging an off campus proctor. It is your responsibility to locate  a proctor and provide me with the name and contact information.
