The International Society of Beverage Technologists has endowed the Anthony J. Meushaw Scholarship to acknowledge and thank Mr. Meushaw for thirty-five years unselfish devotion and service as a member, technical committee chair, speaker, director, president, and most recently, executive director of the Society.
Objectives of ISBT
- In a professional manner, to enhance the promotion, development and dissemination of knowledge relating to the Art and Science of Beverage Technology.
- To promote and stimulate the application of Science and Technology within the Beverage Industry. Specific areas of activity shall include, but are not limited to, formulation, production, packaging, equipment and distribution.
- To encourage and foster research on matters relating to the Science and Technology of the Beverage Industry.
- To provide a suitable forum for the scholarly discussion of the Science and Technology of the Beverage Industry.
- To implement and carry to conclusion other technical programs consistent with the purpose and requirements of the Society.
Eligibility and Selection Criteria
- Applicant must be an undergraduate degree-seeking major in the School of Hospitality Management with special interest in Beverage Technology. And be a junior or senior standing or a degree-seeking graduate student.
- Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 (on a 4.0 = A scale).
- Applications will be reviewed each spring for awards the following fall.
