The 1,400 square foot Herbert S. Joseph seminar room is a 76 seat multi-use classroom featuring the most advanced audiovisual equipment and a modular demonstration area for use by faculty and guest lecturers. It will include a display area for wine and spirit-region maps, a state-of-the art sounds system, an overhead projection system and a wine press display. This room will be acoustically balanced to allow for proper concentration while tasting wines and spirits and will feature positive air preassure and charcoal filters to emliminate sensoy interference when sampling products. Incandescent lighting will provide students with the ideal setting for viewing wines and spirits. The room will also be equipped with red lights, to allow for proper color masking tests.
