FIU Honors College in Italy ~ Who may go & how do I apply?

The Honors College Italy Program is open to all students from FIU, although there is limited enrollment for reasons of practicality.
Honors College students from FIU have priority acceptance at the time the first deposit is due as the program serves to satisfy part of the Honors curriculum. Students not from FIU may apply as non-degree seeking students as well, after November 15th, if there are still slots open in the roster.
 

To participate in the Italy Program, you must do the following things:

1.  Come to the Honors College Office in DM 233 and fill out an application.

After you have filled out an application you must...

2. Deliver a non-refundable $600 deposit for the trip to the Honors College Office before November 15th for the following May program.

3. Complete and sign a Release of Liability Form in the Honors College Office.

To participate you must also...

4. Pay the balance of the cost of the trip and tuition costs according to the official payment schedule, and...
show proof that you have a valid passport, visa (if  necessary), and insurance. And satisfy any new requirements that the Honors College may have implemented since this page was published online.

5. Show up at the airport on time on May 1st!!!
