SeaWorld SEASONAL ADVENTURES
CULINARY OPERATIONS:
Restaurant Attendants
• Some positions must be at least 18 years of age.
• Positions include counter help, kitchen help, dishwashers, carts, vending, and patio service.

Stewards and Bussers
• Duties include: wiping tables, sweeping, emptying trash cans, putting away stock (with some lifting 30 – 50 lbs.) and ware washing.

Cooks and Line Cooks
• Must have 1-5 years experience in kitchen production in a high volume fine dining restaurant (sauté, grill, fry, prep, and pantry), and catering experience.
• Must have the ability to multi-task.

CULINARY OPERATIONS:
Mixer/Pourer Personnel
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
• Responsibilities include following specific food prep procedures utilizing a variety of power and manual kitchen equipment, maintaining stock, and various cleaning duties.

On-call Servers
• Fine dining experience is a plus.

Table Hosts/Hostesses (Dine With Shamu)
• Must be able to work well as a member of a team in a fast paced environment.
• Responsibilities include acknowledging guest orders, coordinating guest needs and providing quick, courteous service in a professional manner.
• Additional duties include, but are not limited to, serving drinks, dispensing alcohol responsibly, handling cash/credit card transactions, carrying and lifting trays weighing 20-45lbs, side work including prep, refilling ice stations, restocking and preparing areas for next seating and other cleaning responsibilities.

Warehouse Worker
• Must have a valid Florida CDL driver’s license (or be willing to obtain one) and a clean driving record.
• Must be a self-starter, able to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment, and willing to take on new challenges daily.
• Responsibilities include the proper pulling, delivering, and storage of goods received and distributed from the warehouse in addition to keeping the warehouse clean and orderly.

PARK SERVICES:
Male and Female Restroom Attendants
• Responsible for the cleanliness of restroom areas and other miscellaneous duties as needed.

MERCHANDISE:
Jeweler
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to lift at least 20 lbs and stand for long periods of time and in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to learn product knowledge, including information about oysters, and sales techniques.
• Must learn the techniques of piercing and mounting a pearl into jewelry.
• Previous retail experience helpful but not required.
• Responsibilities include selling jewelry and settings by using up selling techniques, delivering excellent customer service, operating a computer style register, and light cleaning and lifting.

OPERATIONS:
Traffic Attendants
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license, preferably a CDL license with “P” endorsement but not required, and a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to tolerate extreme temperatures and sun exposure.
• Responsibilities include speaking to large crowds over a microphone and assisting with the parking of guest vehicles.

Park Operations Hosts/Hostesses
• Responsible for crowd control, cleaning surrounding areas, guiding guests and answering questions.

Admission Attendants
• Must have excellent computer and customer service skills.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Responsibilities include selling admissions tickets, operating turnstiles, and assisting large volumes of guests.
• Candidates also assist with the selling and renewing of SeaWorld Fun Cards.

ENTERTAINMENT:
Theatrical Services Technician III (Maintenance)
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and have a clean driving record.
• Candidates should have previous experience in the repair and maintenance of theatrical equipment as well as a willingness to learn and an excellent attitude.
• Weekend and holiday work will be required.

Wardrobe Assistant
• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to lift 30lbs and work well independently as well as with a team.
• Must be available to work morning or evening and weekends and holidays as needed.
• Responsibilities include assisting with laundry and maintaining shows and character costumes.

HEALTH SERVICES:
Nurse II
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must have current Florida RN licensure and current Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to maintain composure in emergency situations.
• Must possess strong assessment skills and provide medical care at a BLS level, pursuant to appropriate industry and SeaWorld/Busch Entertainment guidelines to injured or ill guests and employees.
• Fluency in other languages is preferred.
• Responsibilities include covering the resident camp check-in process and ensuring that the paperwork for campers is reviewed prior to the date of applicable camps.
• The position will also require occasional night shifts for sleepovers held by the education department.

PLANT ENGINEERING:
Painter II
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be knowledgeable in the safety precautions involved with paint.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and possible evening shifts.
• Must be willing to climb heights if necessary (Sky Tower, Kraken, ladders).
• Responsibilities include interior and exterior painting as well as sand blasting for surface preparation.

ANIMAL TRAINING:
Associate Trainer
• Must be SCUBA and CPR certified.
• Must be able to pass a highly competitive swim test.
• Must have a minimum of one year marine mammal/bird training experience and a basic understanding of the application of Operant Conditioning.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule with full availability.
• A college degree in psychology or marine sciences is preferred.
• Responsibilities include assisting the Animal Training staff in providing proper nutrition, appropriate and sanitary living conditions and constant care for the marine mammals.

MARKETING:
Marketing Interns
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Must have an interactive and outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a group.
• Responsibilities include building and maintaining relations with Hospitality clients and providing project support for marketing initiatives including building/maintaining relationships with hotels and handling route fulfillment as well as working events and Outreach opportunities out in the market.


Discovery Cove SEASONAL ADVENTURES

CULINARY OPERATIONS:
Restaurant Attendants
• Specifically patio service positions.

Twilight Discovery Servers
• Must be able to work from 1:00pm-11:00pm Monday through Thursday.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and assist in team lifts of up to 200lbs.
• Must be able to perform responsibilities associated with table, family, or specific event’s style of service.
• Duties include, but are not limited to, dispensing alcohol responsibly, carrying serving trays weighing 20 – 45 lbs, side work and ware washing.

Cook and Line Cooks at Laguna Grill
• Must have 1-3 years experience cooking in a restaurant setting.

OPERATIONS:
Pride Team Crew Members
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and take pride in work.
• Responsibilities include the daily operation of opening, closing, and the preservation of the resort’s grounds cleanliness throughout the day.

SECURITY:
Control Center Host
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have the flexibility of working different shifts during the park’s hours
• This position is high paced, and therefore requires someone who is good at multi tasking.
• Responsible for overall communication with a radio and paging system for Security.

WATER SAFETY:
Deep Water Lifeguards
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have American Red Cross lifeguard certification, first aid and CPR certification, and be willing to obtain all applicable water safety-training certifications.
• Must pass a swim test.
• Must have at least 3 to 4 days full availability including weekends.
• Must have a positive, outgoing personality.
• Previous life guarding experience is preferred, but not required.
