All other programs require a minimum commitment of six months, but again, may be altered depending upon the intern’s needs. Interns will be scheduled to work between 40-50 hours per week. This will require the intern to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
Positions are available in the following areas:

  • Recreation Rooms Division Culinary Human Resources

About Intern Housing…
Our intern housing is located on premise and is smoke free. The rooms are small, dormitory-style with minimal furnishings and have shared bath facilities. Each room has a single (twin) bed, closet, small table or nightstand and a chair; some larger rooms have two single beds. Electricity, water and cable are included.

In addition, we have a few one & two bedroom apartments on property. Depending on availability, you might be assigned to share a bedroom with another intern in one of these buildings. These apartments include bathroom and kitchen facilities but are also minimally furnished and simple. Please do not expect to be housed in facilities as seen on our website.

You are responsible for your own bed linens for a twin bed (pillow, sheets and comforter or blanket) as well as bathroom towels and wash cloths. You will have access to a coin operated laundry, which is at your cost. A room deposit of $100 will be deducted from payroll in two installments and reimbursed, pending a satisfactory checkout, at the end of your stay. Small appliances such as fans, radios, televisions, toaster, microwaves and small refrigerators may also be considered.  Limited space is available in the rooms for storage, so pack lightly.

Resort Facilities…
With the exception of the Marina Store, all resort facilities are off-limits to the resort staff. You will be able to enjoy our glass bottom boat (the Osprey), our dive/snorkel boat, kayaking, bike rentals, and the interactive dolphin program complimentary, provided there is space available. Our dive shop frequently offers reduced rates for staff members to become certified and our parasailing operation may also offer discount rates. You will not have access to work-out facilities, pools or the lagoon. We are an island and isolated from a city by 10 or
12 miles. Please consider this as you make your intern decisions.

  • Certificate of U.S. Citizenship
  • Certificate of Naturalization
  • Employment Authorization Card—Immigration Naturalization Service IAP-66
