Objectives of the FIU Herpetology club

1. Foster interest in the herpetofauna of Florida and elsewhere.

2. Teach identification, sampling, safety of handling species, and conservation issues of local and regional species.

3. Provide a forum for FIU graduate students with an interest or specialty in herpetology. We also provide a way to exchange ideas, discuss and critique each others research, and help each other in the field or laboratory.
