GENERAL
CHARGE POLICY
-
There
is no charge for
office visits to
see a primary care
physician, nurse
practitioner, or
registered nurse
for registered students
who have paid the
Student Health Fee
for the current semester.
-
The
following services
incur a modest charge:
laboratory tests,
office procedures,
medications, personal
medical supplies,
and immunizations.
-
All
charges must be paid
at the University
Health Services at
the time of service
for routine appointments,
including immunizations,
pap exams, birth
control pills, etc.

The
FIU University Health
Services accepts
cash (only at the
University Park Campus),
personal checks,
money orders, the
FIU Debit card, or
credit cards (Master
Card, Visa, or Discover).
-
All
charges not paid
for at the time of
service will be placed
on the accounts receivable
of the University.
You will not be able
to register for future
classes, nor receive
a diploma or transcripts
until all university
charges (e.g., health
clinic, parking tickets,
library charges,
etc.) have been paid
in full.
