GENERAL CHARGE POLICY
  • There is no charge for office visits to see a primary care physician, nurse practitioner, or registered nurse for registered students who have paid the Student Health Fee for the current semester.

  • The following services incur a modest charge: laboratory tests, office procedures, medications, personal medical supplies, and immunizations.

  • All charges must be paid at the University Health Services at the time of service for routine appointments, including immunizations, pap exams, birth control pills, etc.

  • The FIU University Health Services accepts cash (only at the University Park Campus), personal checks, money orders, the FIU Debit card, or credit cards (Master Card, Visa, or Discover).

  • All charges not paid for at the time of service will be placed on the accounts receivable of the University. You will not be able to register for future classes, nor receive a diploma or transcripts until all university charges (e.g., health clinic, parking tickets, library charges, etc.) have been paid in full.

    OFF SEMESTER CHARGE
  • Students who are not registered for the current semester but who were registered for the immediate preceding semester are eligible to receive services at the University Health Services by paying a semester fee of $100.00. This fee entitles you to receive unlimited office visits for the remainder of the current semester.
