We are the social voice of Honors College students. For years, we have worked to make student life more productive and enjoyable by planning and participating in activities that make memorable college experiences. We are a small community of over-achieving, self-driven individuals with a common goal: to make the best out of our years at FIU.

FIU offers a fascinating range of activities that allow students to get involved on campus. However, we know it is somewhat discouraging to participate in many of these activities as an individual student. This is one of the reasons why members of the Honors College join GEP, to be part of an active community dedicated to service. Our mission is to encourage members to be active around campus and around the city, and we do so by making every activity as fun as possible.

One more reason to join GEP is the possibility of meeting students with common interests and motivations.  Since this is a small organization of about 80 members, we have the opportunity to get to know everyone else on the group and to make good friendships.
