Directions for Day 1 - PreConference Event at the UCF Library

To locate the University of Central Florida, go to Mapquest.com and enter this address: 4000 Central Florida Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32816. Please note that travel to the University of Central Florida campus involves toll roads. The campus is located on the east side of the Orlando metropolitian area. Florida drivers may use their SunPass transponders. Other drivers will need cash or coins. Travel time approximations are below. Please allow extra time during rush hours. Parking is available on campus in pay-by-parking lots. Upon entering campus, follow signs to visitors’ parking lots. Parking ticket machines are available. Payment is by cash or credit card.

Recommendation -- Shuttle service is not available to this side of the Orlando area. A taxi ride is at least $40 each way, and you will still need to commute the 1.0 miles between your hotel and the UCF Campus. Therefore, it is recommended that you rent a car at the Orlando Airport. Free parking is available at hotels. All-day parking is available at UCF for $5, payable by cash or credit card.

• From the junction of the Florida Turnpike and Florida Highway 528 -- 30 to 45 minutes
• From the Orlando International Airport -- 30 minutes
• From the junction of the Florida Turnpike and Florida Highway 408 -- 45 to 60 minutes

Via Orlando International Airport
• Florida Highway 528 East (toll road).
• Florida Highway 417 North to 408 East (toll roads).
• Exit to University Blvd. Go East.
• Travel approximately two miles to the main UCF entrance.
• Follow signs to the Visitors’ Information Center.

From the North – via the Florida Turnpike Southbound
• Florida Highway 408 East (toll road; note: Highways 408 and 417 merge).
• Exit to University Blvd. Go East.
• Travel approximately two miles to the main UCF entrance.
• Follow signs to the Visitors’ Information Center.

From the North --- via Interstate 95 Southbound
• I-4 West.
• Florida Highway 417 South to 408 East (toll roads).
• Exit to University Blvd. Go East.
• Travel approximately two miles to the main UCF entrance.
• Follow signs to the Visitors’ Information Center.

From the South – via the Florida Turnpike Northbound
• Florida Turnpike North (toll road).
• Florida Highway 528 East (toll road).
• Florida Highway 417 North to 408 East (toll roads).

The Rosen College of Hospitality Management is located at 9907 Universal Blvd in Orlando, Florida, in the heart of the tourist area and within 2 miles of dozens of hotels. To pinpoint the location, please go to Mapquest and use this address. The Orlando International Aiport is about 15 - 20 minutes from the Rosen School.
