Brief Description of the Program:

The past few decades have seen a rapid expansion in both international trade and global investment. This business and financial expansion has resulted in the development of an interdependent economic system replete with the social and political ramifications such interdependence generates. To be effective, today's business leaders must understand the competitive forces at work in this environment. They must have a keen awareness not only of their own country’s business practices but also of those of other countries around the world. They must have world-wide political awareness and sensitivity as well, particularly if they expect to develop viable global business strategies for their enterprises.

The Master of International Business (MIB) degree is a lock-step program designed for students who want to pursue a career in this dynamic global business environment.

It is an accelerated program that can be completed in 12 months (taken full time during the day) or in 15-18 months (taken part time during the evening).

The objective of this degree is to prepare professionals with advanced skills in global strategy management, supply-chain management, management accounting, and information systems-electronic commerce, and information systems. All of the courses emphasize the international nature of business management.

Application Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from an accredited university.
  • If the applicant's degree is not in Business Administration, he/she must have a working knowlege of financial accounting, statistics, and a solid foundation in computer skills and spreadsheet analysis.
