Dr. Gebelein is planning to extend the ongoing research methodology
practiced in her Cuba-based research to the Bahamas as well. Dr Gebelein
is also working with fisheries information, coral reef health data, population
statistics and tourism numbers to assess the impacts of these anthropogenic
