The
College Reach-Out Program (CROP) is funded by the Florida Department
of Florida Education. The purpose of the program is to increase
the awareness of the educational and career opportunities available
to students in middle and high school grades.
The main goals are:
Increase
the number of minority students who attend college.
Increases the number of low income students who attend and complete
college.
Motivate and mentor participants to pursue a college education.
Develop the basic learning skills of the participants.
Strengthen the participants’ and their parents’ understanding
of the benefits of a college education.
Foster Academic, personal, and career development through supplemental
instruction.
