Bacardi family shares family secret, launching new Bacardi Rum

  

CORAL GABLES, Fla., Nov. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Bacardi Limited, producer of the world's leading spirit, Bacardi rum, announces the launch of the world's first premium aged rum, Bacardi 8.

Using the original formula, materials and aging process which Don Facundo Bacardi created in 1862, Bacardi introduces Bacardi 8, the aged rum historically reserved for Don Facundo and the Bacardi family. Under the watchful eye of the family's Master Blenders, Bacardi 8 is aged for eight years in the warmth of the tropics, in carefully selected, small mature oak casks, to develop the rounded complexity and natural rich amber color of the finest aged rum.

Nose

Complex, yet very well balanced, with notes of apricots, vanilla and nutmeg on a background of white American oak wood.

Taste
