EVR 3013L
Ecology of South Florida Lab

This course is an introduction to the plants and animals of South Florida, the natural communities in which they occur, and the ecological processes controlling their existence.  The lab complements the lecture course EVR 3013: Ecology of South Florida.  This class meets for one hour and fifteen minutes per week and six times during the semester on alternate Fridays or Saturdays for the three and one half-hour field trips.  By the end of the semester, students should be able to recognize the major biological communities of South Florida, characteristic species found in each habitat, and the biological and physical factors that affect them.
