As a part of
the Counselor Education Program's commitment to excellence,
we maintain an Advisory Board of Directors to assist us with
maintaining the integrity of our Program. Professionals from
a variety of professional backgrounds serve on our Board,
ranging from educators, clinicians, administrators, and
graduate students. The Board meets annually at the
University to discuss new ideas as well as evaluate the
effectiveness of ongoing projects.
As an action-oriented group, the
Board addresses such things as counselor education
preparation, licensing and credentialing, and appropriate
mental health care for all.
Members of
the Board are at the forefront of the counseling profession
and contribute their knowledge and expertise to the
preparation of future counseling professionals.
