ADDITIONAL INFORMATION---PLEASE NOTE
Bulletin #2 is the deadline for materials to be submitted and approved for inclusion in the 2009-2010 catalogs.
Course Proposals
Changes to a course prefix, number, credit hours, title description, or prerequisite, must have an electronic current syllabus attached to justify the change.
New course proposals must be submitted with an attached electronic proposed syllabus which includes learning outcomes, major topics & textbooks.. Experimental courses must be submitted to Jenel Patterson in the Registrar’s Office and will not be repeated as experimental unless there are extenuating circumstances, e.g., a permanent number for the previously submitted and approved nonexperimental course has not been received.
All Other Proposals
In addition to the paper submission, all proposals must be submitted with an electronic copy attached. Please click here to check hearing requirements and the number of copies you will be asked to submit. Failure to do so will result in these items not being included in the bulletin.
REMINDER:
The Curriculum Committee, Undergraduate and Graduate Councils do not meet during the summer. All new tracks, certificates, new degree proposals and graduate unit specific admission standards must be received in time for Bulletin #5 (see above) or they will be postponed until the first bulletin, Fall 2009. Curriculum information, check lists and signature sheets may be found online.
Please call the Faculty Senate Office, 305-348-2141, if you have questions.
