How To Get Involved
DM is a great way to be involved with one the university’s largest student organizations. DM provides students with the opportunity to become part of a cause that affects the lives of thousands of children at Miami Children’s Hospital, learn the benefits of community service, networking opportunities, and enhances the overall college experience. Dance Marathon is the nation’s largest collegiate philanthropy!
Dancer Registration
Dancer: A dancer is someone who has challenged themselves to be present at the event the entire 25 hours and raises a minimum of $140 for the event if registered before October 31, 2009. If a dancer registers between November, 2008-January 26, 2009, the dancer will be responsible for raising $150. You can register to be a dancer ONLY ONLINE at www.helpmakemiracles.org/event/fiudm. You will need your debit or credit card to register with your first $20 which will be deducted from your dancer total ($140 or $150, whichever applies.)

The Dance Marathon committee members are the student volunteers that make it all happen at Dance Marathon! These volunteers help feed, organize, entertain, and motivate Dance Marathon's dedicated dancers! Delegates | What is a Dance Marathon Delegate?
Dance Marathon Delegates are the link between participating organizations and Dance Marathon. They are responsible for keeping the members of their organization informed of all the important information dancers need to know about Dance Marathon! Every organization participating in Dance Marathon needs to pick a delegate. Delegate Meetings will be held on Thursdays, 230-330pm. Please contact Mayzi Garcia at dm@fiu.edu, ATTN: Dancer & Organization Liaison, to sign up as a DM delegate for your organization.
Dance Marathon 2010 will be held January 30-31st in the FIU Recreation Center.
Alumni Registration
Participants of previous DMs have left legacies for future FIU DMs to follow. Without their time, dedication, and ingenuity, DM would not have come as far as it has today. Are you DM alumni?
