Professional Certificate in Labor Studies and Labor Relations

The Professional Certificate in Labor Studies and Labor Relations is an eighteen credit course of study designed to offer both pre- and post-baccalaureate as well as degree-seeking students the opportunity to gain broad-based knowledge about the field of labor studies with its focus upon the examination of the issues which confront people in the pursuit of their need for rewarding employment as well as insights from the field of labor relations with its emphasis upon the formal interactions between labor and management.

Track I: Labor Relations and Collective Bargaining

A grade of "C" or better is required for all courses. "C-" is not acceptable. At least one course should be taken from a discipline other than Labor Studies.
