Florida International University's
CIBER was established in October, 1995. Since then, CIBER
has made substantial progress in carrying out the mandate
of its grant by promoting international understanding, enhancing
international expertise, and creating broader awareness
about the internationalization of business. CIBER has teaching,
research, and outreach initiatives aimed at helping students,
faculty, and business people identify and address the challenges
posed by a global economy.
FACULTY RESEARCH AWARDS
Faculty Research
Awards ranging from $1000 to $3000 will
be awarded based on research (in the early conceptual
stages or in progress) involving international research
questions.
Proposals are due: May 16, 2008
with funding decisions made by May 28th.

CIBER is proud to
announce the resumption of our "working paper
series" which solicits work-in-progress, or
nearing completion, to be posted on the CIBER website,
and available to the extensive Department of Education
network, as well as all other CIBER Centers (n=31).
If your work has an international component, and
particularly if it fits the criteria listed above,
please consider submitting it to us for posting
on our WP series.

STUDENT STUDY ABROAD
PROGRAMS
FIU-CIBER
offers student study abroad programs to Australia,
Central Europe, China,Germany, Greece, Japan,
Paris, Rome and Spain with course emphasis on
International Business and Management. The purpose
of study abroad programs is to expose students
to the topics in an International setting.

during SUMMER B semester from July 13-27, 2008.
