Moving series authority records from OCLC into NOTIS:

1. Export the record into LTFI by hitting Cont F3 (or keying in xpo and hitting F11).
   
   
2. Transfer it to Notis by using WinONI. Click here for ONI instructions.
   
   
3. Call up the record in Notis.
   
   
4. Check the 645 field and correct if necessary the coding of SER in the fixed field:
   
   1. If it is coded "t" meaning that the series is traced, then code SER as c
      
   2. If it is coded "n" meaning that the series is not traced, then leave SER code as a
      
   3. If there is no 645, then look for a 667::"Give phrase as a quoted note." If this note is there, code SER as b.
      
      
5. Add your initials in a 690 field.
