UNIVERSITY PARK OVERSIZE BOOK POLICY

Please note that there are 4 University Park oversize location/sublocation codes. Books classed in M go into FIUGL/SCOOV; books classed in N go into FIUGL/GENO5 (because they are shelved on the 5th floor); Special Collections books go into FIUSP/SPCOV; and all other oversize books go into FIUGL/GENO6.

Definition: Books 37 centimeters high and over OR 31 centimeters wide or over are considered to be Oversize.

For example:
xx, 21 p. ; |c 37 cm.
xiv, 276 p. ; |c 27 x 32 cm.

Writing Call Number in the Book

Books that fall into the above categories must have OVERSIZE penciled in above the call number in the book and OVERSIZE must be printed above the call number on the spine label.
