Keeping statistics for digitization projects:

Whenever a QF record is created as a prelude to digitization, the new record should be counted on the stat sheet as Record Creation.

Only when digitization is complete and the cataloging record is cleaned up and uploaded to OCLC will the title be counted as cataloged. We'll fill in one of the Format lines for Electronic Resources and count it as one New Title and one Original.

Right now the plan is for Maria Bello to upload the records to OCLC using the Cataloging MicroEnhancer. Before giving Maria the title and Notis number of a record ready for uploading, the cataloger should count the title as cataloged.

The Milemarkers project will be counted at the end of the project. We will count it in the "Other" category (below Computer Files on the stat sheet) and we will specify that the count is for digitized photographs.
