MULTI VOLUMES:

If working with a serial or multi part HOL record, be aware that the default is for a monograph; therefore, you must update the LDR and the 008 fields if you are cataloging a SERIAL or a MULTI-PART material in any format. Once edited SAVE to the SERVER.

In the item record in Enum.Level.1 (A)(Vol.) type the volume number only, example "1" [except for records which migrated with v. or t. in which case leave it as is].

In Description: add v. or t. or whatever applies, for example v.1 or t.1 [NOTE: no space between the period and the number].

NOTE: Transcribe the volume designation in the same language as it appears on the piece. Check Cataloger's Desktop for the appropriate form of abbreviation to be used.
