DELETE RECORDS
To delete a bib record in Aleph, you have to delete the attached item record(s), holdings record(s), administrative record, and then the bib record.
The item record(s) is deleted in the Items Module and the other records are deleted in the Cataloging Module.
First delete the item record(s), then the holdings record(s), then the administrative record, and finally the bib record.
If you try to delete the bib record first, you will get a "Record Check Warnings/Errors" window with messages in red alerting you that there are other records attached to the bib record.
Deleting Items
From the Nav map click on "Items" to push the record to the items module, select the item to be deleted and click the Delete icon.
Deleting Holdings
From the Nav map click on "Catalog HOL", click on the holding to be deteted and click on Edit, then click on Edit menu, scroll down to Delete and then click on Delete record from server, or just press Control R.Deleting Administrative Record
