What to do with 6XX _1 subject headings (Children's subject headings) on DLC/DLC records:

1. delete them unless there are no other subject headings.
   
2. where there are no other subject headings, check to see if the 6XX _1 is a legitimate LC subject heading. If it is, change the coding to 6XX _0 and add an appropriate form subdivision in subfield v. The most common ones are:
   
   Juvenile drama
   
   Juvenile fiction
   
   Juvenile literature
   
   Juvenile poetry
   
3. where there are no other subject headings and the 6XX _1 is a not a legitimate LC subject heading, check with Nora.
