Role of the Health Professional in Caregiving of the Elderly Workshop (Health) - This is a two-week online CEU workshop for health professionals working with elderly patients. The focus will be on the role of the families rather than on patients. Course objectives:

To describe the positive factors and problems associated with families caring for the elderly.
To define the role of the health professional with the families of the elderly.
To identify and select appropriate assessments to use with family caregivers of elderly patients
Learn ways to incorporate working with families into the health professional's practice.
