This cutting-edge seminar will cover
every facet of what you need to know to manage litigation and persuade
in the courtroom. From document-management using programs like Concordance
and Summation, to courtroom presentations using PowerPoint and Sanction
II as well as the Elmo evidence camera, the paralegal student will
gain a complete understanding of the power of this powerful technology.
Students will learn by doing and see incredible examples of presentations
actually used in multi-million dollar mediations, arbitrations and
trails. This will undoubtedly be a tremendously exciting and valuable
seminar for everyone working in the legal field. |
Alvin F. Lindsay III is a litigator and partner
in the prestigious international law firm of Steel, Hector & Davis,
LLP. He has extensive first-chair trial experience in high-end litigation,
and had a significant role in the well-known Presidential election cases
of the year 2000. For the last decade Mr. Lindsay has been on the leading
edge of technology in litigation, trying most of his cases using a 21st
Century electronic presentation system similar to that now becoming standard
in new Federal and State courtrooms. Mr. Lindsay has lectured extensively
on the use of technology in litigation, to rave reviews from paralegals
law students and attorneys.
