CADD - Certificate in Advanced Digital Design
CADD Certificate in Advanced Digital Design
- This program is composed of a 3D Track and a New Media Track. The 3D Track is for the design professional familiar with drawing in AUTOCAD, but would like to focus on using the latest visualization tools to take construction documents into the third dimension. The New Media Track is for the design professional that is interested in using the latest and most impacting computer presentation graphics techniques.

Conflict Management Certificate - Florida International University’s Certificate in Conflict Resolution is designed to provide participants with analytical and strategic skills for constructively handling conflicts across situations. Participants will learn approaches to conflict resolution that emphasize the implementation of joint problem-solving processes to achieve mutual-gain solutions.

Forensic Science Certificate - Science-based education for the administration of justice through the International Forensic Research Institute (IFRI). E-learning and on-campus programs coordinated jointly by the College of Continuing and Professional Studies and the International Forensic Research Institute.

New Professionalism Certificate: How to be a better, more effective professional! - Eleven courses are oriented around professional service, ethics, methods, and ideals designed to enable all who aspire to achieve excellence and perform at a truly professional level to do so.

Professional Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies (Undergraduate) -
This certificate program allows the certificate candidate to study interdisciplinary political, economic, and social issues in Latin America and the Caribbean. Eighteen undergraduate credits (2000-4000 level courses) and language proficiency certification are required to obtain the certificate. Certificate candidates can obtain in-depth instruction in the Latin American and Caribbean region without enrolling in an undergraduate degree program.

Professional Certificate in Latin American and Caribbean Studies (Graduate) -
This certificate program allows the certificate candidate to study interdisciplinary political, economic, and social issues in Latin America and the Caribbean. Fifteen graduate credits (5000-7000 level courses) and language proficiency certification are required to obtain the certificate. Certificate candidates can obtain in-depth instruction in the Latin American and Caribbean region without enrolling in a graduate degree program.

School Food Service Management Certificate - This certificate is an innovative and comprehensive professional training program encompassing the fundamentals of school food service management.

Sexuality Education Certificate - This is a training program to certify sexuality educators who teach human growth and development, sexuality education, sexual health/disease prevention, and holistic health care.

Certificate in Non-Profit Leadership (CNL) - This non-credit certificate is appropriate for any acting or elect officer, board member, or active member of non-profit organizations. Some topics include: Arts of Fundraising, Asking for Major Gifts, Cultivating Corporations and Foundations, Managing a Capital Campaign, Special Events, and more.

Certificate in Alternative Healthcare (CAH) - Recognizing the need among a wide variety of healthcare professionals for further education in the field of alternative health, the College of Continuing and Professional Studies is offering a Certificate in Alternative Healthcare (CAH) for practitioners who wish to incorporate holistic healing and alternative medicine modalities into their existing practices.

ECC Executive Communication Certificate - This comprehensive program offers a range of workshops and non-credit courses designed to sharpen the communication skills of leaders in business, government, legal, medical, and any top level executive positions. The curriculum includes four topic areas: Interpersonal Communication, Presentation Skills, Business Writing, and Organizational Communication.

Professional Development, Education, & Training:

  • Professional Coaching Certificate - This certificate is designed to prepare attendees to become professional coaches and pursue coaching as a full-time occupation, or to utilize the skills of coaching as a central part of their practice as a manager or professional consultant. This program will also allow the participant to apply for accreditation by the International Coaches Federation's (ICF) for becoming a certified professional coach.
  • End of Life Certificate - Develop greater knowledge and confidence to deal with the issues and care of seriously ill individuals. For professionals and laypeople in the fields of law, medicine, nursing, social work, guardianship, and psychology.
