Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

A Continuing Education Unit (CEU) is defined by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) as "...ten contact hours of participation in an organized continuing education experience under responsible sponsorship, capable direction and qualified instruction."

The number of CEUs is determined and approved by the Dean of the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS), upon recommendation of the university coordinator. If you are interested in having your program considered for CEUs, please submit the following information:

  1. Program schedule, including dates and times (provide brochure, flyer, or attachment)
  2. Instructor/Presenter's resume or vita
  3. Brief descriptions for each session

Once the program is approved and runs, the names, addresses, and phone numbers of each student requesting CEUs must be provided to CAPS, along with a sign-in roster with all participating student’s signatures.
