| 1. Participation is voluntary; exercise at your own risk. In case of emergency, contact FIU Public Safety at (305) 348-5911. |
| 2. Proper shoes are required at all times. No metal cleats or cleats longer than 3/4". |
| 3. Prohibited items: |
- tobacco or alcohol products
- sunflower seeds
- chewing gum
- glass containers
- pets

- food & open beverage containers (other than water/sports drinks)
- sharp objects, stakes, etc.
- high/spike heel shoes

| 4. Prohibited activities: |
- smoking
- golf
- staking tents/canopies
- chairs with pointed legs
- BBQ's or open flames
|
- bikes, skateboards or rolerblades
- shot put, discus or javelin
- fireworks
- unauthorized motor vehicles
- moving goals without permission

| 5. FIU Panther ID required for Open Recreation use (see posted hours). Guest passes available at the Rec Center for $5. Recreation Services reserves the right to require identification at any time. |
| 6. Recreation Services is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Check the Rec Center for lost and found items. |
| 7. Sports equipment is available for checkout from the Rec Center Pro Shop with FIU Panther ID. |
| 8. Trespassers are subject to arrest. Violations of these policies will result in loss of access privileges. All recreation
participants are required to adhere to the Rules of
Conduct as outlined
in the University's Student and Employee Handbooks. |
9. Priority of use: #1 FIU Intramural Sports, #2 FIU Sport Clubs, #3 Open Recreation (during posted hours), and #4 rentals (by reservation only - #1 FIU Student Organizations, #2 Other FIU groups, and #3 Community). For reservations, call (305) 348-0086. For rental rates, click here. |
