Member Policies and Procedures |
- All current
REC Members are required to present an activated FIU ID
Card at all times to enter facilities
or participate in programs.
- A $15 two-week Trial Membership is available for FIU affiliated individuals wishing to try out the Rec Center. Only one Trial Membership per person is allowed.
- A $10 Day Pass is available for FIU-affiliated individuals - click here for details.
- REC Members may sponsor up to 2 non-FIU affiliated guests per visit via a $10/person/visit Guest Pass - click here for details.
- Membership
fees are to be paid at the Recreation Center
Membership Desk with a completed REC Membership Application
Form. A
photo ID* must be presented at the time of purchase for the
transaction to be validated. (*Those individuals
who do not already have a Panther Photo ID must purchase
a Recreation Services Photo ID at the Graham Center ID Office
[348-3910] within one week of membership purchase for admittance into UP Recreation Services
facilities and programs.) *Payment
may be made by cash, major credit card, money order or cashier
check. (Sorry, no personal checks.)
- Memberships paid through Payroll Deduction cannot be cancelled for periods between semesters, Spring Break, etc. Human Resources will not process short-term cancellations.
- Annual
Memberships are refundable up to 2 weeks after purchase (less
$5 administrative fee). Semester memberships are not
refundable.
- Please
display your REC Membership receipt with your FIU Photo
ID to UP Recreation Services attendants as proof of payment
until your card is activated (usually from 1-5 business days).
- Individuals
whose personal actions infringe upon the
well-being of other users can be denied access.
- Membership
is a privilege. UP Recreation Services
reserves the right to terminate ANY REC Membership at
any time for misconduct or violation of FIU or UP Recreation
Services policies or rules.
UP
Recreation Services accepts all major credit cards, money
orders and cash for
membership payment.
No personal checks,
please.
