Office Hours and Contact Info

Exams and Homework
Grades will be based on two in-class midterm exams (worth 25% each), a final exam (40%), and the remaining 10% on homework. In addition to being announced in class, homework assignments will be posted on the class web page.
Exams
The first midterm was Friday, September 26. Answers to the first midterm are now available. The second midterm was Friday, October 31. Answers to the second midterm are now available.
The final will be in our regular classroom (GL-100B) at the officially scheduled time, Monday, December 8 at 2:15pm. It will be comprehensive.
Homework
Homework may be done individually or in groups of no more than 4. If you do your homework in a group, please turn in a single set of answers with everyone's name at the top. I strongly advise you to attempt all the questions yourself, even if you work with a group.
If you are unable to turn in the homework in class, it can be turned in at the Economics Department by the due date for full credit. Late homework may be subject to a penalty and will not be accepted once the assignment is returned.

- Problems 2, 4, 10, and 13 from Chapter 3 (pp. 79-81) were due on Wednesday, September 17.
- Problems 1, 4, 5, and 9 from Chapter 4 (pp. 105-108) were due on Monday, September 22.
- Problems 1, 4, 7, and 10 from Chapter 6 (pp. 157-159) were due on Wednesday, October 15.

Missed Exams and Incompletes
Incompletes will only be considered when an emergency prevents you from attending the final exam.
If you have a good reason for missing one of the midterms, please contact me. In that case, I will re-weight your remaining midterm and final to 30% and 60%, respectively. Missing two midterms will result in failing the course.
