2008 Biology Research Symposium

at Kampong Botanical Garden

The Biology Research Symposium is a celebration of research conducted by students  in the biological sciences at FIU. The purpose of the Symposium is to allow students to present their projects, proposals, and results in a friendly, professional atmosphere. At the same time, the entire Department benefits as people become familiar with the work of others. Graduate and undergraduate students are allocated oral presentation and poster slots. All faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate, and undergraduate students are encouraged to register and attend.

 
     

On Saturday February 16, the Biology Research Symposium will take place at Kampong Botanic Garden between 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.

Registration must be completed by 7 February 2008, at 5:00 PM

You must register to be eligible to present a paper or poster.

Only a limited number of oral presentations are available (20) and will be selected on a first come first serve basis (determined by the time you register). Five slots are reserved for undergraduate students oral presentations. A maximum of 20 poster boards are available.
