Provides a scholarly and social environment for the students of the FCE LTER conducting research in the Florida Everglades and adjacent ecosystems.
--Student group for the FCE LTER.  Any student conducting research in the Everglades, related systems, or in the FCE program is welcome to attend monthly meetings and social events.

Philosophy of Biology

--Graduate reading group:  Treads and discusses topics concerning the Philosophy of Science, Ecology, Evolutionary Biology, and different Species concepts.  Authors we have discussed include Thomas Kuhn, Marc Ereshefsky, Karl Popper, Paul Feyerbend, Simon Levin, Stephen Gould, Richard Lewontin, and many others.
