 The
FIU BISCAYNE BAY SOCIETY (BBS) is dedicated to supporting the
many outreach activities sponsored by the various departments
within the University community. These events are primarily presented
at the Biscayne Bay Campus. The BBS will help to enhance the quality
of life, learning and leisure in the surrounding cities and communities
by publicizing and supporting these programs.
The
BISCAYNE BAY SOCIETY is also dedicated to gathering a large base
of citizen support for public higher education, in general and
Florida International University in particular.
Volunteers:
The
BBS is run primarily by committed residents of the surrounding
communities, who have excelled in their personal and professional
lives. They devote their time on a pro-bono basis. If you would
like to become a member of the Management Board, or become an
"Ambassador", to your condominium, please call our office
at (305) 919-5381. The Society's
Board meets at 11:00 a.m. on the first Tuesday of each month for
one hour. The office is located in the Library Building, at room
LIB 312.
