• To facilitate any required documentation and financial information to the company that will be conducting the 2008 BAP Audit.

• Revise all the work performed during the year and correct any irregularities found.

Alumni Outreach Committee:

Objectives:

• To keep the FIU Beta Alpha Psi alumni involved with Eta Iota Chapter.
• To maintain relationships with the alumni and keep them informed about chapter news, such as membership developments and significant changes.

• Update the Database.
• Organize social events with the alumni.
• Assist the public relations committee in communication with the Alumni.

Beta Cares Committee:

Objectives:

• To develop a sense of social responsibility among members.
• To give back to our community.

Social Committee:

Objectives:

• To foster relationship building among members in an informal setting.
• To build relationships with firms and network with professionals in a formal or informal setting.
• To enhance your communication and people skills.
• To ensure every member feels at home.
• To maintain the excitement and involvement between major recruiting events.

Responsibilities:

• Organize events with firms such as bowling, sports, dinners, movies or any similar event.
• Plan and coordinate events for the members of Beta Alpha Psi such as barbeques, dinners, beach picnics, sports or any similar event.

Socials for members:  Members are free to share with the committee any ideas they may have of a great social event. These events involve the coordination and support of volunteering members. 

Socials with firms: These events are sponsored by firms who would like to get to know our members a little better in an informal setting.  At the same time our members will be representing professionalism at the event by maintaining proper conduct and dress.  During the event, we do not encourage resumes being hand out but rather business cards being exchanged between members and professionals.  At our initiation banquet, Beta Alpha Psi highly recognizes firms that sponsored a social event.

Council Student Organization Committee:

Objectives:

• To keep Beta Alpha Psi involved in university-wide activities by attending all functions sponsored by the Council Student Organization.

Responsibilities:

• CSO awards honor societies points for attending their events. The more points Beta Alpha Psi receives, the more funding we are attributed.
• Committee members will be responsible for promoting and ensuring attendance to all CSO functions such as sporting events, leadership conference, CSO fairs, service activities, etc.

Tactical Committee:

Objectives:

• To provide food and drinks for all functions hosted by BAP.

Responsibilities:

• For each on campus function hosted by Beta Alpha Psi, committee members will be responsible for purchasing food and food-related items, setting up refreshments, and cleaning up the area following the function.
• Make sure they turn in receipts of Beta purchases to receive reimbursement.

Fundraising Committee:

Objectives:

• To provide Beta Alpha Psi with a source of operating income.
  

Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement creative small fundraising projects.
• In the Fall semester, help organize a softball tournament for the accounting firms. This includes scheduling a date with the par, creating invitations, registering players, collecting fees, and ordering trophies for winners.
• In the Spring semester, organize a raffle. Early in the semester, find sponsors collect prizes print tickets, distribute tickets, to members and pledges and collect money. The raffle usually takes place at the end of semester initiation banquet.
