2000-01: Successfully used as part of the No. 3 doubles
team where she posted an 8-3 record with various partners

her last six doubles competitions, including a pair of victories
during the Sun Belt Conference Championships and against Penn
State in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament

action in singles, going 1-2 at No. 6 in the spring and 3-4 overall
while
her FIU career singles record stands at 29-32 (.475), her two-year
doubles mark is 30-21 (.588).
1999-2000: Put together a string of five consecutive
match wins, all straight-set victories from March 17-25
won
her first match of the spring against the University of Miami
(1/29), FIU's only victory in an 8-1 loss
also recorded
a match victory against nationally-ranked Florida State (2/19)
in Tallahassee
was 8-6 in spring doubles with a 1-0 record
at No. 1
reached the semifinals of the flight "B"
doubles at the Lady Seminole Fall Classic.
1998-99: Was 7-3 at No. 2 singles with 20 combined
spring wins which was fourth best on the team
posted singles
wins in both the first and second rounds of the Sun Belt Conference
Championships
finished 8-8 in doubles which included an
8-6 deciding-match victory over UAB (3/27)
teamed up to
win the consolation bracket title at the Lady Seminole Classic.
Prior to FIU: Played amateur tennis in Colombia and
ended among the top four nationally throughout her high school
career.
