2000-01: After posting a 2-3 singles record in the fall, won both of her spring appearances in straight sets, playing out of the No. 6 position against Boston University (3/8) and Denver (4/6)…teamed with three different doubles partners and recorded on overall 10-7 record, 9-4 in spring play at No. 3.

1999-2000: Was 5-2 at No. 6 singles and 7-2 at No. 3 doubles…after losing two of her first three singles matches in the spring, ended up winning her last four, three of those in straight sets…only two doubles losses came against ranked opponents from Miami (1/29) and Florida State (2/19).

1998-99: Recorded a 12-9 singles record, all at the No. 5 position…won four of her first five singles matches of the spring including a 6-0, 6-0 shutout over an opponent from Florida Atlantic…won an all-important singles match in the semifinals of the Sun Belt Conference Championships…in the fall, reached the quarterfinals of the Lady Seminole and Gator Fall Classics in flight "B" doubles.

Prior to FIU: Played tennis, golf, gymnastics, swimming and horseback riding at Saddlebrook Academy in Tampa, Fla….led her prep tennis team to the district championships…earned a Certificate of Recognition for Academics upon graduation.

Personal: International Business major…daughter of Amin and Farida Elsawaf.
