1999-2000: Arrived at FIU mid-year and established
herself in the spring, mostly at No. 6

17-3 dual singles record, 14-2 at No. 6

16 of the last 17 matches she played
teamed with Guzman
at No. 3 doubles and the two had an 8-3 record
4-0 record
at No. 2 doubles included a decisive win over nationally-ranked
Bethune-Cookman.
Prior to FIU: Played amateur tennis at Academia International
de Tennis in Ecuador
competed in the South American Nationals
from 1989 through '97.
