FIU's duo shut out at ITA Nationals

he FIU women’s tennis doubles team of Anneliese Rose and Christina Campana suffered two losses and were eliminated at the Omni Hotel/ITA Indoor National Championships in Dallas.

The unranked Golden Panthers lost to the tourney’s No. 4 seeded Lauren Kalvaria and Gabriela Lastra from Stanford, 8-6, then fell in the consolation bracket to North Carolina’s Kendall Cline and Aniela Mojzis, 8-2.

The FIU duo qualified for the Indoor Nationals last weekend after surprising the field and capturing the ITA South Region doubles championship in Mobile, Ala.
