FIU ends regular season
with 4-3 loss at South Florida

No. 32-ranked FIU women's tennis team dropped its regular-season
finale, 4-3, to the University of South Florida Saturday in Tampa.
After FIU won the doubles point winning two of three matches,
USF (6-13) battled back winning four matches in singles. At No.
1, the Bulls' Natalie Schwartz beat FIU's Anneliese
Rose, 6-4, 1-6, 6-1.
With the match tied at 3-3, USF's Jennifer Sinclair came
back after losing the first set, 6-4, to win the next two sets,
6-4, 7-6 (7-1) over Maria
Montoya at the No. 3 position to clinch the victory for
the Bulls.
The Golden Panthers (16-5) travels to Mobile, Ala. Next weekend
for the Sun Belt Conference tournament.
