No. 22 FIU defeats No. 61

22 FIU Women's Tennis wins its ninth consecutive match against
No. 61 New Mexico State, 6-1, at University Park.
The Golden Panthers (15-3) swept the doubles competition and
won the singles, 5-1, including Anneliese
Rose defeating Stella Veerman in three sets, 4-6, 6-3 and
6-1, in the No. 1 singles.

Rosenberg also won their singles matches, with Ly winning
impressively at No. 2 over Claire Hamilton, 6-3, 6-1.
FIU moved up 14 spots in the ITA National Rankings this past
week, after defeating No. 9 Tennessee last Saturday. The Golden
Panthers will be back in action tomorrow at University Park against
Oregon at Noon.
